My name is Donte, and I’m the founder of Striver Detailing — a business built on hard work, passion, and the belief that there's always room to improve, both in life and in the way we care for our vehicles.

I was born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts, and I’ve always had a deep passion for cars. I got my start at a technical high school, where I spent years learning hands-on automotive skills and working in the trades. After some time in the field, I made the decision to return to school and pursue a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science — continuing to challenge myself and expand my skill set in new ways.

But like many people trying to break into a new industry, I hit roadblocks. Finding that first opportunity after graduation wasn’t easy, and things didn’t quite go the way I hoped. That’s when I made a choice: instead of waiting for the right door to open, I’d build one myself.

And that’s how Striver Detailing was born.

I decided to bring together everything I’ve learned — from my automotive background to my attention to detail and drive to succeed — and create something I could be proud of. I’ve always loved the detailing process. There’s something deeply satisfying about restoring a car and seeing the transformation, knowing that I made it look and feel better than before.

The name Striver isn’t just a label — it’s a part of who I am. I’ve always believed in pushing forward, improving, and chasing a better version of myself. That same mindset is behind every vehicle I work on. Whether it’s a simple interior clean or a full restoration, I bring that drive, focus, and care to every job.
